Django Unchained: Movie Stills

1 Jun

Set in the South two years before the Civil War, Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave sold to bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz). Schultz is hunting the murderous Brittle brothers and if Django helps, he’ll be freed once the brothers have been killed or captured.

Though the Brittle brothers are caught, Django remains with Schultz and the pair begin looking for Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), Django’s wife who was lost to the slave trade years before.   The search leads them to Candie Land, an infamous plantation, owned by the ruthless Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), where slaves are forced to fight for sport.

A 7 minute sneak preview at the Cannes Film Festival last week was met with positive reviews.  Check out the movie stills released so far.  Django Unchained opens Christmas Day.

The Ugly Cry

Leonardo DiCaprio has made Forbes list of top 10 Highest Earning Entertainers.  Apparently, the Inception star pulled in an estimated $77 million mainly because he prefers to take a percentage of a movie’s earnings instead of a regular old paycheque.

I’m a Leo fan.  He’s handsome, well-dressed and smart.  My favorite thing about him is the way he cries in movies.  I know that sounds sick, but it’s true. Most actors do the single tear rolling down their cheek or the glassy sad eyes, not Leo though.  Leo goes balls out no holding back for him.  See some of his best crying below…
