Wrath of the Titans (2012)

27 Jan

Audiences may not have asked for it, but we’re getting a sequel to 2010’s Clash of the Titans.  I’ll be honest, I really enjoyed the first movie and probably drove my friends crazy yelling “Release the Kraken!” every chance I got.  Wrath of the Titan’s new director (Jonathan Liebesman) has promised us a better plot and phenomenal special effects this time around.

The plot goes something like this…

Perseus (Sam Worthington) embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus (Liam Neeson), who has been targeted for capture by his traitorous son, Ares (Edgar Ramirez), and his brother, Hades (Ralph Fiennes).

If you go see Wrath of the Titans, you should play the Voldemort-Hades game.  Every time Hades (Ralph Fiennes), says Perseus’ name replace it with Harry Potter.  It worked for every scene in Clash of the Titans. Give it a try.
